Proposed Plan
Approved and passed by a NCSC meeting for further discussion in the public, an informal estimated budget and planning for the NCSC project.
NCSC aims to purchase land and build a community center and temples (Pashupati Nath and Budd Nath) in the DFW metro. Given the need of substantial financial resources to complete the project, it would be unrealistic to assign an exact date for the project completion. Completion of the NCSC projects will depend on the participation, donation, and involvement of all the community members. However, NCSC expects to complete this project with the next 3-5 years -given the full support of the community. We would like to present this estimation of tentative budget and project structure for all community members for further discussion and suggestions.
Kindly remind that this sample estimated financial figures and time table are likely to change. Therefore, flexibility in terms of estimated time and budget is required. A final estimation of budget and structure will be developed once we collect suggestions of all community members.
Phase I: Land Purchase and Execution phase (2008 – 2009)
In phase 1, we will complete the collection of the pledged donations, finalize the project site, purchase the land, set-up utilities, and complete the necessary administrative work of land registration and acquisitions

Area cultural center Structure (3200-4000 sq ft)
Area for temporary Temple – Pashupati (1600-2000 sq ft)
Area for temporary Temple – Buddhanath (1600-2000 sq ft)
Phase I Cost = Estimated cost $300,000-$500,000, including $300,000-$400,000 for land
Estimated cost for land and utilities $300,000-$500,000
Estimated cost for cultural center $300,000- $400,000
Estimated cost for two temples $ $400,000- $500,000
Remarks: cost of land varies with location and area. Since the costs of the cultural center and temples vary with size, construction quality, and design, at least $1.0 million will be required to complete these 3 projects.

Further planning will be carried out to planning the services that will be provided such as education, religious teaching, cultural functions, and day- to- day operation of the temple. A series of public meeting will be held to collect the input/suggestions of the community members |
